JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Inside Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Sales

REPORTS TO: VP of Sales

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

SHIFT: Day Shift


JOB PURPOSE

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for working with the sales manager, sales team and lead generation tools to find opportunities for new business. Understanding the prospecting cycle, sales cycle and generating prospecting and sales activities.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Understand prospect needs and requirements.
  • Develop and polish scripts when qualifying leads by phone.
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, build lists for sales team members.
  • Input large lists of prospects for sales reps, find and add contacts via Zoom, LinkedIn or web searches.
  • Optimize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software to leverage sales opportunities and ensure all team members are utilizing to its fullest. Maintain relationship with 3rd party vendor for software, opening cases and resolving issues.
  • Work with Sales Manager to create and maintain lead generation.
  • Work with VP of Marketing to develop campaigns and promotions that tie in with the sales process.
  • Monitor company website’s Live Chat feature.
  • Contributes to the development of a sales strategy based on analysis of print markets.
  • Complete sales reports and other sales-related projects as assigned by the VP of Sales.
  • Sales support sending sample kits, calendars to prospects.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced environment
  • Superior listening skills and ability to engage prospects by phone
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience working in a database of MIS system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office


EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years of related experience working in a fast-paced environment effectively interfacing with internal and external customers.


EDUCATION

BA/BS degree or equivalent
