J.S. McCarthy adheres to Lean Management Principles. Not only have we implemented these principles company wide, we also continually develop more efficient work flow processes. Through our company wide “Zero Defects” program, teams meet routinely to evaluate completed jobs looking for opportunities to improve our processes. We have built into our workflow documented quality expectations using standard operating procedures with the idea that every employee is a part of the quality process. Every step of the production process has its own Standard Operating Procedure that operators are trained on and must follow. We require a double sign off at every phase of the production process to ensure each employee is accountable for meeting job specifications and the company’s SOPs and quality standards.
