On Sunday, July, 25th 2021, Matthew Tardiff completed the 140.6-mile Ironman Lake Placid in 13 hours, 22 minutes, and 53 seconds. The event consisted of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike, and a 26.2-mile run.
The entire J.S. McCarthy family would like to congratulate Matty on this fantastic accomplishment. His dedication and training over the past two years prepared him physically, but nothing is quite as awe-inspiring as his mental toughness. Matty completed the entire event with a smile on his face, proving that you can do anything you set your mind to with the right tools, training, and dedication.
Way to go Matty! You are a true leader, reminding us all that dedication is always in style!
